     In an automated cascade cage system, a clean sweep (also known as a belt cleaning brush or egg belt cleaning brush) is a plastic accessory designed specifically for cleaning egg belts. It is usually made of corrosion-resistant, engineered nylon filaments and is installed at key points in the path of the egg collection belt, where it removes egg liquid, feathers, dust and faecal residue in real time through physical friction, maintaining the hygienic and efficient operation of the egg collection system.


     Core Functions and Technical Principles
1.Pollution prevention and hygiene
     When eggs are rolled through the trough into the egg belt, they may carry chicken manure or broken egg liquid. The cleaning sweep is close to the surface of the belt, and the dirt is scraped synchronously during the egg conveying process to avoid cross-contamination and ensure the safety of eggs. According to statistics, effective cleaning can reduce the contamination rate of broken eggs by more than 30%.

2.Extend the life of your equipment
     Residual organic matter can corrode the material of the egg belt and harbor bacteria. The regular friction of the cleaning sweep reduces dirt build-up, prevents the belt from hardening or deforming, and extends its service life.

3.Adapt to automated processes
    Modern stacked cages have highly integrated egg collection systems, and the cleaning sweep is usually embedded in the inlet of the egg collector or in the transition section of the central conveying line, allowing it to work without downtime.
