Absrtact:Most of the common problems with poultry farm manure belts come from: improper tensioning, poor drum alignment/tightening, welding quality of joints or foreign object jamming. Follow the four steps of "regular operation + reasonable tensioning + check joint + adjust alignment", and most faults can be quickly recovered.
Quick Point:
1.Main faults: the manure belt does not move (the drive drum rotates but the belt does not move), the manure belt is deviated, and the joint welding problem is not moved.
2.Core check sequence: 1) Whether it is blocked or too loose → 2) Whether the rubber roller/drive roller is tight and parallel → 3) Whether the joint welds are firm/positive → 4) Whether the cage is deformed.
3.Immediate repair actions: remove foreign objects, reasonable tensioning, tighten bolts, adjust the parallelism of the coated rollers, find a welder to re-weld or choose the appropriate welding method according to the equipment.
4.Prevention strategies: regular operation and cleaning, regular joint and tension checks, and establishment of welding quality standards and rework processes.
Fault - cause - solution
Fault A: The drive roller rotates but the manure belt does not move
Genesis:
1.Excessive accumulation of chicken manure causes the straps to become loose or slippery;
2.the rubber roller and the driving roller are not tightened (insufficient friction);
3.There is a foreign object stuck in the drive or roller bearing.
Resolution steps (in order):
1.shut down and remove feces and foreign objects;
2.moderately tighten the fecal belt (avoid over-tightening);
3.Tighten the tensioning bolts at both ends of the drive roller to confirm that the rubber roller is in good contact with the drive roller;
4.Inspect and maintain bearings and transmission components.
Fault B: The manure cleaning belt is off
Genesis:
1.The rubber roller is not parallel to the driving roller;
2.the length of the belt at both ends is inconsistent or the joints are incorrect;
3.The cage is not installed straight or deformed, resulting in the guide offset.
Resolution steps:
1.Adjust the bolts at both ends of the rubber roller so that the axis of the roller is parallel;
2.Check the length of the joint and realign the weld;
3.Calibrate or replace deformed cage components to confirm the overall installation base.
Fault C: Loose joints / incorrect welding
Genesis:
1.Welder technique or welding method does not match equipment/materials;
2.Improper selection of weld overlap methods or insufficient weld strength.
Suggested practice:
1.Choose an experienced welding master and use the method that matches the welding equipment of the factory;
2.record common welding methods (applicable scenarios, advantages and disadvantages) and add joint strength inspection to the quality inspection;
3.Spare parts strategy: Several standard length welding tapes or prefabricated joints are available on site for quick replacement.
